Pallieres, Gigondas Racines Vintage:2016Full bottle 1,390 g. From the estate's oldest vines (60 to 100 years old). 80% Grenache, 8% Syrah, 7% Cinsault, 5% Clairette. Kermit Lynch and Brunier family run this. Slightly dull, shaded garnet almost ruby suggests this was neither filtered nor fined. Really grunty, sweet southern Rhne with herbs and spices and even a bit of leather. Lots of fun! Hints of molasses and dried grasses. Really artisanal and a liquid to transport you to red wine
