7014-L: 7 μm Carbon Fiber Electrode for use in vivo (acute), brain slices, or in vitro Fast Scan sub-second7 m carbon fiber electrodes (CFEs) are used in conjunction with Pinnacles tethered recording systems. CFEs are used to measure the presence of biogenic amines (e. g. dopamine) in the brain using fixed potential amperometry or fast scan cyclic voltammetry. Pinnacle CFEs are 7 microns in diameter.
