Hand Antelope Island is a small fault block mountain range in the Basin and Range physiographic province which extends from the Wasatch Front to the Sierra Nevada Range and includes many similar fault block ranges. The island consists of a principal north trending backbone ridge (Daddy Stump Ridge) with subsidiary ridges projecting to the west and east. The major fault
