Ribes speciosum 'Rana Creek'Fuchsia Flowered Gooseberry: Wickedly spiny CA native shrub with small leaves arching stems reaching 4 6' tall. Deciduous, but leaves persist on the shrub longer when given regular water. 'Rana Creek' is a particularly nice selection. Bright red pendent flowers in winter to early spring.
